Magic Mushroom Infused Fruit Smoothie

Magic Mushroom Smoothie – Easy DIY Recipe

Our Favorite Smoothie Recipe With A Magic Twist

Serves: 1-2
Prep Time: ~5 min

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen fruit (banana + berries works great)

  • 1 banana (fresh or frozen)

  • A handful (≈ 1 cup) spinach (or other leafy green)

  • 1 cup milk or milk substitute (oat, almond, etc.)

  • Optional: 1 scoop protein powder

  • Magic mushrooms, finely ground / powdered (dose as desired)

Dosing Reference:

1/4g or less is a microdose.
1g is a gentle glide into a new way of thinking
3.5g will make you trip pretty damn hard
More than 3.5g might get scary

*Start Slow! You can always take more later. Wait 90 minutes between doses, as the magic can take its time to kick in.

Instructions

  1. Add the milk (or milk substitute) into the blender.

  2. Put in the banana and fruit. If using frozen fruit, no ice needed; if fresh, you can add a few ice cubes.

  3. Add the spinach. Blend briefly to smooth out the greens.

  4. Add protein powder (if using), then finally the magic mushroom powder. Blend on high until everything is smooth.

  5. Taste. If it’s too earthy (from mushroom or spinach), adjust by adding more fruit, a splash more milk, or a sweetener like honey/agave.

  6. Pour into a glass. Optional: garnish with a slice of fruit, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or a few berries.

Tips & Notes

  • If using frozen fruit, it gives a thick, creamy texture without watering it down.

  • Banana helps mask flavors (both mushroom & spinach), especially if it’s ripe.

  • Protein powder adds staying-power so you don’t crash on the sugar from fruit.

  • Make sure mushroom is finely ground so there aren’t gritty bits.

  • If you want it extra cold, chill your glass beforehand or use frozen fruit.

  • Clean your blender quickly! Mushroom residue might stick and affect future flavors.

Why This Recipe Works

  • The healthy fats & proteins in the milk (especially plant milks with higher fat) help with better absorption of psilocybin.

  • Fruit + banana + milk naturally mask stronger, woodier or green tastes, so it feels more like a dessert / treat.

  • Spinach gives nutrients without overpowering flavor, keeping things light & fresh.

  • Quick to make, easy to sip, no heavy chewing or prep — perfect for when your mind is opening up.
